Yeah, the EV sector is applying enough demand on Li-ion batteries on its own. Ideally one of the other energy storage technologies could take the place on the stationary storage side, but they have not been proven out yet. Until either the demand for batteries subsides (adamant on the gov side that it will not) or another technology can alleviate some pressure meaningfully, costs could be an issue.
